I have just returned from my first trip to GOA

GOA yesss the name itself is enough to fill you with excitement & thrill and bring smile on your face. This trip was totally amazing because of beautiful beaches wonderful weather, great food, best hotel with quick services and lots off adventures with unforgettable train’s journey. Water sports in Goa at Calangute Beach were awesome. Sightseeing, day trips, night out, Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, Dance and music were just heaven. Goa and Churches have beautiful Connection, Goa is also home to some of the beautiful churches that you must explore for Goa’s architectural beauty, this goa trip made you feel like the jackpot. The best memories you will always have from crazy trip with friends.

HOW TO REACH

  • Via Railways : It is quite easy and cheapest way to reach Goa, the main railway station is known as Madgaon, it is well connected by trains from all over the country, from New Delhi it takes somewhere around 38h 15m.
  • Via Flight: The fastest way to reach from New Delhi to Goa is flight to Goa International Airport and takes 2h 25m.

  • Anjuna Beach –Anjuna Beach is a perfect paradise for beach lovers. Anjuna beach provides you with some of the stunning and photographic view during sunrise and sunset. The combination of the white sand, rocky headland and the beautiful blue sea create an unbeatable view.

So, the beach is popular by the name of Dona Paula. It’s a lover’s paradise that offers a splendid view of the Mormugao harbor and fringed by casuarinas woods & palm trees.
  • Old Goa Churches like Se Cathedral – Se Cathedral is also known in old goa as Se Cathedral De Santa Catarina. It is the cathedral of the archdiocese of Goa and Daman. The cathedral is an example of colonial architecture and it’s a world heritage site. It is one of the biggest cathedrals in Goa and draws a lot of tourist attraction. Visitors must have locate the large Golden Bell,within the church.
  • Basilica of Bom Jesus – It’s a very old church which is very famous. Its like a UNESCO world heritage site,Inside ,there’s a body of St. Francis Xavier , who was a very respective saint. He became a Missionary and traveled to many places,including India,japan,and other parts of Asia. He was known for his dedication to helping others and spreading teaching of jesus.After his death,his body was bought to Goa,where it’s now kept in the basilica of Bom Jesus. People from all over the world visit this Church because it’s so special and has a lot of history behind it. It’s a must visit if you’re ever in Goa.

 

  • Mangueshi Temple – The stunning old Shri Mangesh temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is outstanding with its simple and elegant structure. It is considered to be the most beautiful among the temples in Goa.
  • Balaji Temple – The Tirupati Balaji Padmavati temple is located at Kunkuliem Village in Ponda, Goa enveloped with greenery from all sides. The temple has been blessed by Jagadguru Sankaracharya the Holiness of the Kanchikamakoti Peetam. The Balaji Temple in Ponda is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, Lord Ganesha and Goddess Padmavati, the temple is managed by the Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Charitable Trust.
  • Augustin Tower – Church of St. Augustineis a ruined church complex located in Old Goa The church had four towers of which only one remains. The remaining tower is a four-storied structure built of laterite and 46 m in height.

 Dudhsagar Waterfalls

You must have seen the giant Waterfall scene in many movies like in Chennai Express and you always wanted to visit that waterfall. This Dudhsagar Waterfall is most beautiful thing in Goa. Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. It is 60 km from Panaji by road and is located on the Guntakal–Vasco da Gama rail route about 46 km east of Madgaon and 80 km south of Belagavi. Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India’s tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m and an average width of 30 metres

Panjim Market Goa

If you love shopping, you must visit Panjim market in Goa while traveling trip in Goa. Panjim Market is located nearby the Inox Multiplex, off the Campal road. Panjim Market is a best combination of both exotic and modern stuffs.

A large air-filled rubber tube and dragged by a speedboat into the open sea is done and the main purpose is to hang on as long as you can while the speedboat zips over waves in an attempt to throw you off.
  6. Speed Boat Ride – Speed Boat Ride in Goa,is feeling the thrill of winds and breaking waves are too much fun. The speed of boats may reach up to 50 mph, which is extremely exciting, making speed boat rides one of the most loved water sports in Goa.

    A few tips to all girls need to follow when you are in Goa:

    • Stay in a good hotel. Pay more if needed try to have hotel near Beach, so you can enjoy beach at night also and reach hotel room back safely on time. So check out your hotel thoroughly.
    • Don’t visit any beaches at night all alone, that is in the busier Goa, stick to crowded area and try to be in group.
    • If you are late outside at night always use a taxi rather than walk – it probably won’t cost you much more, rather you feel safe and worth it.
    • Learn to say No. You also need to be rude sometimes – If you are in an all-girls group, you attract attention. The trick is to avoid trouble say NO!!! Politely at first and then if it doesn’t work,be little rude.
    • Don’t drink too much. Staying within the guidelines on a night out is much easier if you stay in control of what you drink.

      MY GOA EXPERIENCE

      Goa is a dream place of everyone to visit once in life because you can enjoy your life unlimited with no restrictions. I am lucky I got to visit Goa at a young age with my crazy college friends. Go there with your friends and it will be the coolest trip of your life and you gonna love it. So, over all, Goa is a place that truly won’t stop surprising you and these are good enough reasons to pack your bags and head to Goa!!! It’s Gooaaaaa, after all.
